About our Client
Our client is a National Insolvency firm who work on a wide range of complex assignments including disputes, forensic accounting, contentious valuation and damages across all sectors. The focus will initially be in the NSW market with oversight and growth of a longer-term National Forensic practice.

About the Opportunity
This a lead Forensic Director/Partner role to manage and grow a Forensics Practice within a broader Advisory firm. The role includes business development, leading pitches and generating own work from an established network of contacts as well as delivering high quality client work. The role offers leverage to an existing network of legal networks and a variety of Insolvency related Disputes on top of your own core disputes related work.

Would suit anyone from Associate Director to Partner level with ambitions of leading a practice.
 
Key responsibilities
  • Contributing to the updating of complex financial models and analyses
  • Participation with Senior Leadership on Dispute Litigation and Valuation Engagements of Various Clients
  • Preparation of Initial Valuation Model Inputs, Working Papers and Research for Both Valuation and Forensic Projects
  • Assisting with the drafting of Expert Witness reports and other client deliverables
  • Performing quality control review of schedule and project control reports related to dispute advisory mandates
  • Balancing multiple client projects and other responsibilities
  • Identifying and Communicating with the Senior Leadership, Gaps in Documentation Provided and Issues Identified During all Phases of a Project
About the Person
  • Substantial experience in Dispute Litigation/Forensic Accounting
  • 10+ years of forensic and / or investigations experience
  • Good network of contacts in major law firms and corporate clients
  • Consulting experience with report writing is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills - good team player with the ability to work under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability and willingness to maintain a flexible work schedule in order to meet client needs
