With a strong focus on the property and construction sectors, they work closely with lenders, investors, and stakeholders to manage risk, navigate distress, and deliver practical commercial outcomes.
The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supervisor to join the firm’s growing Restructuring & Insolvency team.
This role is focused on property and construction engagements and offers exposure to a broad range of formal and informal appointments, including:
- Profit improvement and turnaround engagements
- Debt restructuring and trade-on appointments
- Voluntary administrations, liquidations, and receiverships
You will take ownership of engagements, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage restructuring and insolvency engagements
- Perform and review financial modelling, due diligence, and forensic analysis
- Prepare high-quality reports for creditors, financiers, and stakeholders
- Supervise and review work prepared by junior team members
- Liaise directly with clients, advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Identify and report on investigations and potential contraventions
- Ensure compliance with quality control and risk management procedures
About You - Background in restructuring, insolvency, or forensic accounting
- Exposure to property and construction engagements highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Business, Law, or a related discipline
- CA or CPA qualified (or near completion)
- Strong financial analysis, investigative, and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with experience preparing formal reports
- Proven ability to supervise staff and manage multiple engagements
